Hello, I’m Billie (short for Bilbearo) Richardson. I love to draw and have done so for as long as I can remember. Whether it’s a doodle on a page or paint on a large canvas, there’s always something on the go.
In 2022 I completed an excellent HarperCollins Author Academy course. In the same year I was offered a place as a Mentee on the Pop Up Pathways into Children’s Illustration course. I applied for these courses after I had worked on several self-publishing projects and wanted to learn more.
In 2021 I illustrated and self-published a book of fun poems for children. The poems are a collection of nonsense rhymes written by my husband and the book is called ‘There are Hats.….’ It is available on Amazon to buy.
The same year I authored and self-published a cookery book called ‘Flatbread Feasts’ – a book describing how to create flatbreads using natural ingredients. In 2022 I created and published my second cookery book called ‘One Can of Chickpeas’ – which contains over 50 healthy and inexpensive chickpea recipes. Both books are available on Amazon.
