Hello, I’m Billie – a self-taught practising commercial and professional illustrator based in St Albans in Hertfordshire. I am mainly interested in children’s literature and editorial.

2025 was a big year for me: I finished the Pathways Into Children’s Publishing course, where I got to work on briefs for publishers like Nosy Crow, Bloomsbury, Mundo Azul, and Happy Yak. And I was mentored by HarperCollins to illustrate a middle-grade book written by Polly Ho-Yen. In March I exhibited my portfolio at the London Book Fair and then in November I received a commendation for my work from the FAB judges at Faber & Faber!
